December Check-In

It's hard to believe that the end of the year is almost here. It has certainly brought many twists and turns with it. I still remain uncertain about this blog, but I hope to have some idea of what I am doing with it by January. Until then ~ I hope that you have a wonderful end of the year and here's to a prosperous 2013!

So....I've been thinking

I might pop in here once or twice before the end of the year, but I have decided that for now I will leave this blog on at least a semi-hiatus.

I don't think I am going to simply end this blog, but at the moment it is just pretty low on my priority list. I think when I do return --- it is going to be about "life." My life - in particular. I keep trying to take some fresh angle on it --- but let's face it --- this blog just isn't meant to be that.

Anyway, consider this my November check-in. If I don't get back on here until December (or January) --- I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and great Christmas.

October check-in

I'm still here. I am now taking a hiatus from almost all of my blogging. I think I just need to think silently for a while and figure out exactly where these blogs (and my life) are headed.

Anyway, keep the faith and hopefully I'll be back with some kind of plan soon.

Checking in

I successfully completed my 31 days of blogging over at The Freelance Misift, so I'm actually pretty pleased with that.

I still haven't decided if I will return to this blog, however, on any regular basis or not. If I do --- I think it needs to have a direction. It needs to be about something and not about random thoughts that don't really tie to an overall theme. In other words, there needs to be some kind of consistency.

Anyway, not sure where I'm going from here --- but we'll see.

Hiatus

Okay, I'm putting this blog on hiatus for a while. I'm just having a really rough time right now and I think it is better to take a break instead of trying to act like everything is all rainbows, sunshine and unicorns. I am still blogging (for the moment anyway) over at The Freelance Misfit. I don't know how much longer I can hang with it, but I wanted to try to make it through this month, so for the moment I'm trying.

Insomnia and Isolation

I started my new work schedule yesterday. This involves going to bed earlier and getting up earlier. Only....I'm not sleeping. The last two nights I have basically tossed and turned until about 3 a.m. and then woke up about every thirty minutes. I could literally close my eyes like the guy over there <<<--- and I think I would be asleep. I can guarantee you, however, that by bedtime --- I will once again be wide awake.

Anyway, I'm having a rather bad week so far. I just want to go hide in a cave somewhere and be by myself without any of the stress of day-to-day living.
