There is a lot going on here and I have been debating how much of it should be shared on a public blog that anyone can read. I haven't decided how comfortable I am with this idea, so I'm still in the thinking mode.
Meanwhile - I thought you might get a kick out of this. While out pet sitting yesterday - I drove into a subdivision and there were about 8 of these guys standing in someones yard. They were nowhere near any body of water. There is a lake across the road at the end of the entrance to the subdivision, but these geese were a pretty good distance away.
On the right side of the road - were two Mallard ducks, but they were kind of behind a trash can and I couldn't get a decent shot.
I guess oddities in life really are there - you just have to keep your eyes open for them!
