Although there is a slight breeze in the air and I'm starting to see a few leaves drop onto the driveway, my short trip outside to give one of the cats a treat brought me back indoors sweating. I LOVE this kind of weather. Actually, I like it just a tad cooler, but I'll take this over any hot, humid day of summer.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to keep myself from putting Halloween decorations out. Yes, people here are already doing that. I will confess to having Halloween bat clingy things on my French doors, but they have been there since last year to help keep birds from flying into the glass.
Where I'm going with all this is...it's very hard to want to work indoors today. I wish I had a laptop and WiFi so I could sit outdoors and write. I actually have a laptop, but it is a dinosaur of a thing and I think the concept of "WiFi" would probably have it quivering in terror. Actually, I'm not even sure where that laptop is....probably hiding in the back of the closet somewhere hoping that I will quit saying "WiFi."
Anyway, although lately I have been wondering what in the world I am doing living in the state of Georgia (it's too hot in the summer and the pollen drives me crazy in spring and fall) - toady is one of those days where I am happy I'm here.
Now....if I can just make myself get to work....
