Hello, my fellow fishies....
I'm back where I started.
Two years ago I left eBay and pet sitting to start writing full-time. I won't say I was unsuccessful, but I never did achieve the level of success I was looking for.
The main company I was writing for was an online content site called Demand Studios and then Demand Media Studios (after they went public on the stock exchange). I love the company and still do....
But....their business model is changing. The articles available to the writers have gotten increasingly harder to write. I came to the conclusion at the end of last week that something has to change. I recently sold a couple of guitars on eBay for my husband and over the last few days a plan has started to form. I'm not giving up writing, but I am coming back to eBay.
Before, the plan was to write full-time and sell eBay part-time. The new and improved plan is to sell eBay full-time and write part-time.
I've decided that I will document about my return to eBay. Can you make a full-time living doing eBay? Well, you'll have to follow this blog to find out!
Anyway, yesterday was my "kick-off" day, but......I had a little trouble getting my listings to launch. Apparently, eBay didn't have an updated credit cart on record for me and Auctiva got a message from them and put a screeching halt to my plans.
This was taken care of this morning (day two). But....it's now 1:00 in the afternoon. Not sure how successful this day will be - but I'm going to get some lunch and regroup.
So....that's what this blog will not be about. Well, that...and I may still do an occasional "generic versus the real thing" or just vent about life in general. We'll just have to see....
